Athens - Corinth Canal - Mycenae - Nafplion - Epidaurus - Athens
Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic gulf to Mycenae, visit the remains of the ancient city, including the Lionesses Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palaces remaining on the top of the Acropolis.
Then through Argos on to Nafplion, the first capital of Greece. There you can visit the Palamidi castle, walk along the streets of the old town, a monument of Neoclassical Architecture and have lunch.
After visit the Epidaurus Amphitheater, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Return to Athens via Epidaurus and have a coffee stop by the famous Corinth Canal.
If you are interested, either in the morning or in the afternoon, you can have a short visit at the site of Corinth and see among other things, the Bema where Saint Paul spoke to the Corinthians in the Agora.
